Nail Crazies Unite Challenge – Fall Foliage

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been absent lately – work is busy at the moment so I’m not having much time for painting my nails, never mind blogging about it! I’m trying to keep up with the challenges though. Today its the turn of the Nail Crazies Unite group, and the prompt is fall foliage. I did a fall leaves mani not long ago, so I wanted to make sure this one looked different.

What I used:

Itsy Nails London Mellow Yellow (yellow creme)
Barry M Enchanted (plummy brown shimmer)
Crabtree & Evelyn Clementine (orange creme)
Revlon Cayenne (brick red shimmer)
Barry M Cotton (off white creme)
MoYou London Black Knight (black stamping polish)
Born Pretty Store Clear stamper
Liquid latex

I started out with two coats of Cotton to make a base, then I put random dots of the other colours on my stamper and smooshed it onto my nail. Messy but it does give a nice effect! Liquid latex is a must for this.

Once that had dried, I stamped the leaves in black over the top. I originally tried gold, but it didn’t show up enough (if you look at my pinkie nail you might be able to see the gold stamping). I’ve completely forgotten which stamping plate I used, and I won’t be near my stash for a few days to find out. Such a bad blogger! Have a feeling it was an Uberchic though. I top coated with HK Girl Glisten & Glow to finish.
