Hello my lovelies! I’m back from an amazing few days in Iceland – it’s such a beautiful country, and the Icelandic people are so friendly, and to top it off, the northern lights were in full flow most nights! Mr Magpie took better photos than me, so I’m borrowing one of his:
Anyway, on to the polish!
Today I’m showing you Danglefoot Nail Polish I’m Beach Ready, which was part of the Life’s A Beach indie box earlier this year. My bottle arrived in pieces, so Hayley kindly offered to replace it once she was up and running again. The replacement arrived recently (along with a bottle of cuticle oil that I’m currently trying out) so of course I had to use it straight away!
I’m Beach Ready is a hot pink neon with a subtle linear holo. It is slightly translucent, so I needed three coats for full coverage, but that does give it a lovely squishy quality. As it’s a neon, it dried to a dull finish, so I added a coat of HK Girl Glisten & Glow topcoat.
I wore it like this for a day or two, then I stamped over it.
What I used:
- Danglefoot Nail Polish I’m Beach Ready
- MoYou London Bahamas Punch (yellow stamping polish)
- MoYou London Cool Pool (blue stamping polish)
- Uberchic plate 5-01
- HK Girl Glisten & Glow topcoat
I love the mix of these colours! This was such a fun, summery mani to wear, I was sad to take it off.
Unfortunately I’m Beach Ready is no longer available as it was a box exclusive, but the good news is that the next box will be released on Monday 3rd October! It will be Dr Who themed, and will have polishes from Danglefoot, Freckles, Princess and Sparkle Nail Polish. Keep an eye on Hayley’s Instagram or Facebook pages for all the info & swatches.
See you soon!
