Hi! I’ve finally got time to join in with the Hobby Polish Bloggers theme week for once, it’s been far too long since I’ve managed it! Hobby Polish Bloggers is a really friendly Facebook group, dedicated at all things that go on behind the scenes of a nail blog – from camera issues, to search engines, to platform help. It’s a great resource for any nail blogger. This month, the theme is glitter topper. I have so many glitter toppers it’s embarrassing! The magpie in my blog name is there for a reason! 😉
This mani was supposed to be a quick fix for an evening, but then I cut my finger right next to my nail, so it had to stay until the cut healed. But it’s cute, so I didn’t mind too much!
What I used:
- Rimmel Peachella (peach creme)
- Nails Inc Richmond Gardens (blue, green, yellow & white matte glitters)
- HK Girl Glisten & Glow topcoat
I did three coats of Peachella, then added a coat of Richmond Gardens on top. Richmond Gardens has gone pretty gloopy, but after a few drops of thinner it was just about thin enough to spread. One day I will learn to remember to use a makeup sponge for glitter. One day. But not today. The glitters needed two coats of topcoat to tame them though, which made it bubble. Oops!
Sometimes a quick glitter topper is just the thing!
