UK Stamping Community – Pastel Nails

Hi! This fortnight the theme for the UK Stamping Community Facebook group was pastel nails. I’m a bit late posting these, I forgot to do it before I went away for the bank holiday! I thought a pastel gradient base would do the trick.

What I used:

Rimmel Peachella (peach creme)
Rimmel Ring A Ring O’Roses (pastel pink creme)
MoYou London White Knight (white stamping polish)
HK Girl Glisten & Glow (topcoat)
Bundle Monster BM-S109 Shangri-la stamping plate
Liquid latex
Clear stamper
Make-up sponge

I started out with two coats of Peachella, then painted round my nails with liquid latex and sponged on a gradient of Peachella & Ring A Ring O’Roses. While that was drying, I peeled off the latex and did round 1 of clean up. I reapplied the latex, then stamped the diamond pattern onto my nails. More clean up, then a coat of Glisten & Glow finished it all off.

I’m still not stamping straight! I think the problem is the position I work in – I always paint my nails sitting on the sofa with a tray on my lap, so my head isn’t really directly above my hands like it would be if I sat at a desk. Still, they are mostly centered and look great at a quick glance! It is possible that I am way too self critical.

I’m quite pleased with how these came out, I really like the white pattern over the pastel gradient. I’ve been happily wearing them for 4-5 days now, normally I’d be bored by now!

See you soon

Love,
Jo x
