UK Stamping Community – White and Gold pt 2

Greetings lovely readers!

I posted a few days ago about the UK Stamping Community theme for this fortnight, which is white and gold. I’d done a mani but I wasn’t happy with it, so as I had a bit of spare time I had another go. Much happier with these ones! These are also my next mani for #clairestelle8jan, which has a prompt of gold.

Polishes used:

Sally Hansen Wedding Glitters (gold shimmer)
Ciate Party Shoes (gold holo glitter)
MoYou London White Knight (white stamping polish)
INM Out The Door (topcoat)

I started out with two coats of Wedding Glitters, then added a coat of Party Shoes. Still not giving up glitter. The tiny gold glitter against the gold background is a really nice subtle effect, with tiny dots of colour when it catches the light.

The plate I used to stamp the flowers is another of my Christmas presents, the Pueen Celebration Collection – Lace Blossom. This is by far the biggest plate I own, measuring 18x24cm, and it comes in it’s own box, wrapped in tissue paper. I took a picture of it with my bottle of topcoat for size reference.

It’s sooo big! I was a little daunted by it, not knowing where to start! As the name suggests, it is filled with images of flowers and lacey patterns, plus a few other random bits (is that a Christmas tree in the middle?). I used the area circled, flowers and spirals. I love a good spiral pattern. Stamping when smoothly apart from my index finger, which missed some spirals. Don’t know why, but I’m sure it’s my fault. Still need more practice!

See you soon,

Love,
Jo x
