#clairestelle8jan challenge – Favourite Animal

Hello! Today’s nails are the latest prompt for the #clairestelle8jan Instagram challenge. I’ve been looking forward to doing these ones – the prompt is favourite animal which means I can go cat crazy!

Polishes used:

Rimmel Pillow Talk (pale blue background)
Revlon Coastal Surf (darker blue stamping)
MoYou London Black Knight (black stamping)
INM Out The Door (topcoat)

I started out with two coats of Pillow Talk. I didn’t want a plain background, so I found a plate with some fine stripes and used Coastal Surf to stamp all my nails. I then added all my cat images using Black Knight.

I used three different stamping plates and a total of seven different images for this mani! The plates I used were Born Pretty Store BP-21 for the fine background patterns, BP-59 for the two cats on my middle and ring fingers, and Bundle Monster Fuzzy and Ferocious BM-S156 for all of the full nail images.

I am sooo pleased with how these turned out! I gave my Creative stamper a good clean with washing up liquid, and then buffed it with a magic sponge, and it seems to be picking up images even better now. I took a pic of my thumb nail too to show how well the Bundle Monster plate stamped.
