#wearitpink – pink on pink stamping

Hello my lovelies! Today I’m showing a mani I have done for the UK Stamping Community Facebook group. The theme this week is pink stamping – I didn’t know whether that meant stamping with a pink polish, or just to include pink somewhere, so I’ve gone safe and chosen to do pink on pink. And of course, it fits in nicely with Breast Cancer Awareness month.

My base is three coats of Barry M Speedy Kiss Me Quick, my go-to pale pink which is over halfway down the bottle now. Could I actually finish a bottle of polish?

I used Born Pretty Store plate BP-28 for this mani, I just thought the swirly design would work nicely with the two tones of pink. I forgot to photograph the plate, so here’s the image from their website.

I used the bottom left pattern in case you can’t tell! I stamped with Revlon Colorstay Passionate Pink (another go-to pink!) I’ve never used it for stamping before, but it worked well over the paler pink.

I’m very happy with how this turned out! The pattern suits my newly shortened nails – I got a little over enthusiastic trimming them last night, oops.
