Pink mani contest entry

Hi! Over on Instagram @polishedbyleanne is running a contest (it ends Friday, if you’re in the UK, go paint your nails now!) and all you have to do is a pink manicure. I thought I’d have a go, so here is my entry!

This was fun to do! I started with a coat of Barry M Speedy Kiss Me Quick, and then sponged on a gradient of Kiss Me Quick, Barry M Gelly Dragon fruit and Revlon Colorstay Passionate Pink. I then added a bit of sparkle with some holo glitter, Confetti from Ciate. I did try to stamp the hearts in pink but it looked dreadful, so I scraped it off and stamped with MoYou London White Knight instead.

The stamping plate is yet another from Born Pretty Store, this time plate QA86. This plate is full of hearts and snowflakes (odd mix!). Like all the other Born Pretty Store plates I’ve tried, this one stamps well and the image transfers from plate to stamper to nail well. And for once, I got White Knight to behave!

I used the full nail image of the hearts at the bottom left of the picture. There are lots of individual hearts to play with as well.

I really enjoyed doing this mani! It looks very happy and cheery, which makes me smile whenever I look at my nails. That’s a win in my book!

See you soon,
Love, Jo x
